It's not only which keywords you choose, it's what you do with them.

Article marketing is a good start if you are not already writing articles and posts for other sites. Get those articles out there until you do. SEO press releases are are a wonderful tool as well.

You cannot place ads on your forum unless you purchase their hosting. A secret is if you already have hosting of your own you may already have a forum included ready for ad placements.
